Simon writes, records and produces his albums from his own digital recording and production facilities in West Cornwall, enabling him to work independently and to the very highest standards on each project he undertakes.
Simon's versatility is reflected in his seemless blending of musical styles from different cultures... from West to East, Native American to African, Gregorian chant to Celtic and beyond. Simon's work embraces the richness and diversity of influences from many areas of the world, all set within his unique ambient soundscapes, chill-out grooves and transporting, visionary music.

Simon's inspiration has always been the beauty of nature that surrounds him and he was delighted to be approached by the talented Belgian soprano Manuela Van Geenhoven with a view to writing music that celebrated the beauty of nature. And so one of Simon's most acclaimed album projects was born...
The Jeweled Planet project helps raise awareness of the need to respect the natural world through a unique album of original, emotive music featuring Manuela's pure soprano voice and Simon's rhythmic World grooves, ambient textures and organic natural soundscapes.
Simon's creative collaboration with Manuela was so successful that he continued their partnership on his subsequent release Nature Baby which cleverly combined both the nature concept of The Jeweled Planet with the beautiful baby music of Simon's Music for Mother and Baby Series.
Always looking to explore new, expressive forms of music, Simon became GROOVECATCHER in collaboration with Manuela and fellow U.K. composer/producer Phil Webb in 2004. Groovecatcher's album "After The Rain" released in February 2006 was an instant hit and charted in Top 10 iTunes charts Worldwide.
